Selected Funeral and Life Insurance Company | Superior Funeral and Life Insurance Company in Mississippi (SFLIC) is pleased to announce that Karen B. Gaspard has been promoted to Louisiana State Director in the Sales Development Division.
Karen, a resident of Walker, Louisiana, assumes the SFLIC sales and business development position for the state of Louisiana. Karen has worked in the insurance industry for more than 25 years with experience as a pre-planning advisor, in provider relations as a contracting specialist, and as market coordinator. Karen is a Louisiana life-licensed insurance sales professional. Carol Stanley, former LA State Director, currently resides in Diamondhead, Mississippi, and is now serving SFLIC as a preferred special career agent, licensed in Louisiana and Mississippi.

Suzanne, a resident of Saltillo, Mississippi, was promoted to the position of Assistant Director of Sales, Sales Development Division, in 2020, and has oversight responsibility for Mississippi, Louisiana, and Oklahoma. Eades began her career with SFLIC in 2000, was named a vice president in 2010, and senior vice president in 2016. She is a past president and current secretary of the Mississippi Funeral Supply & Sales Club (MFSSC). Eades earned her Certified Preplanning Consultant (CPC) through the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA) and holds a Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) designation through the internationally recognized Life Office Management Association (LOMA).
