Byas Funeral Homes, Mississippi, receives awards at recent meeting.
Byas Funeral Homes of Mississippi were recognized recently in Hot Springs, Arkansas, at the SFLIC annual stockholders meeting. The awards were announced during a special presentation during the May 2024 meeting.
The Byas Funeral Homes organization was awarded the coveted SFLIC Outstanding Funeral Home Award 2023 given to a funeral home or funeral home organization that demonstrates leadership in the areas of insurance program participation, sales, personal involvement, enthusiasm, and dedication. The Byas Funeral Home organization was also recognized with the SFLIC Gold Level Sales Award for achieving more than $1.5 million in sales volume during 2023
Wellington Byas, Victor Byas II, and Byas insurance representative W. T. McCormick, representing Victor and Grace Byas and Byas Funeral Homes, were on hand to receive the awards from SFLIC Director of Sales Suzanne Eades and SFLIC Mississippi State Director Carol Stanley. Victor Byas, Sr., commented, “We are proud to receive these special awards recognizing hard work, dedication, and striving for excellence.”
